Enter Stranger Things Season 2.With an A+ cast and a storyline as spooky as it is shocking, Stranger Things Season 2 will have you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The Duffer Brothers have done a great job of continuing the storyline from Season 1. They've balanced a lot of story-lines and characters perfectly, with no one getting left behind. The pacing is spot on and will keep you at the edge of your seat for a satisfying amount of time. By the end of Episode 1, I was already totally engrossed in the plot and all of the wonderful characters once more. There were certainly aspects within some episodes that could have been edited down for better pacing, but it's hard not to appreciate such an ambitious season as this one.The story as a whole is really well done and still manages to be as shocking as it is touching. The tasks that lay ahead for our heroes this time around are monumental and I was truly in awe at the sheer amount of obstacles in their path. It was amazing to watch them grow and overcome these obstacles, particularly when it came to Eleven and her mother. The only character I felt didn't really contribute much this season was Max, who following a great introductory episode in Season 1, seemed to take a back seat in most episodes, only popping up again near the end of the season. The same could be said for Billy. They were both great characters, but could have been better used throughout Season 2.The only real downside to the show is its familiarity. For me personally, I had to concentrate harder than usual on some of the story-lines this time around because I was so used to it. The big twist at the end of Episode 10 was quite unexpected, but it wasn't as mind-blowing as some twists I've seen in other shows. That's not to say that this show doesn't have some great twists and turns within, just that they are a little bit more predictable.The Duffer brothers have truly outdone themselves with this second season and it's incredibly hard not to recommend it.
